Back to School

Madison and Sage started school last week.  Isn't it funny how we can't wait for school to be out in May to enjoy the summer with our kids and then we can't wait for school to start in August?!  Summers are so fun and the lack of routine is a nice change of pace.  But a return to routine is nice, too!  Madison started Middle School this year and loves the whole locker and changing class thing.  It seems like she has grown up over night.  Sage did not get the teacher he was hoping for, but he already really likes his teacher.  The kids had a pile of homework last night.  Piano and voice lessons begin next week, so we are officially into the school year!

Oh back to school! I am beginning in the little school process. We have a open house at Daniel's Mothers Day Out this Friday, How cute. This is hard for me to let him go 2 days a week, but I know it is good for him. How long did it take to recieve your application from Gladney? It's been a week, should I call them? Take Care

The kids have grown just since we saw them at the beginning of the summer. Especially Madison, she doesn't look like a little girl anymore.
Sydney starts high school tomorrow and is really nervous.
Thanks so much for sharing your journey with us, we look forward
to reading the blog.

As the wife of a teacher, I also love when school starts back up! I also welcome the routine again...

You have some very sweet kids!

My Dear Sweet Nikki, what a beautiful idea! The Blog!!! I often wonder of my contribution, if we don't adopt, that is , to furthering God's mighty Kingdom! Then I am swiftly reminded that God calls each family to serve and contribute in very different ways. What a uniqe opportunity each of us as parents have to being so close to God's perspective of His love for each of us as His children. We as parents can come a bit closer to God's beautiful design for relationship with Him by that relationship with our children. I commit to praying with you all as you embrace and embark on another chapter in your lives. So blessed to get to be a part of your lives. Much love, Brooke Ann D.
