We're on the Wait List!

We were very excited to get the email today from Mary telling us we are officially on the wait list.  Woo Hoo!  The kids squealed when they read the title of Mary's email.  Sage ran out the door to tell Dustin.

We are approved for up to three children and have requested either gender between the ages of 4 and 8.  Sage is nine and it is recommended that we stay in birth order AND we so do not want to do diapers again.  Don't get me wrong, we LOVED the toddler stage... just don't want to do it again.

Thank you, God, for patience during the paper chase and especially for the patience needed during the coming months...

Yay! You know that tingly feeling that runs from your head down your body? I got that reading the email. It just makes it that much more real. We feel so blessed just to get ot share this experience with you all.
We have some friends that have moved away from OK but were at church last Sunday with their new Ethiopian baby. They had had him only 2 weeks. I told them of you and they said there were several older kids meeting their new parents and they were pleasantly suprised that the kids were not at all shy or inhibited, but were so affectionate and loving toward them.
If we can, I know Syd and Brad want to get together with Madison & Sage before the family multiplies. Maybe just a quick weekend sometime as the weather starts to warm up a bit.

How exciting! We were approved for a sibling group of up to three ages 0-8 last February and are now home with our Ethiopian beauties ages 8yrs and 19 months. I love to find families as "crazy" as us! What a wonderful journey we have had! I'm looking forward to hearing about your new family members when you receive your referral. (They may have been friends with my daughter!)
Blessings,
Kristy
